The mid-lake crossings, where cars can travel too, and the passenger line that runs up the lake from Como to Bellagio.
Lake Como's scheduled boats are run by Navigazione Laghi, which publishes the timetables and fares. In the middle of the lake, where its three arms meet, Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio and Cadenabbia are also linked by car ferries that take cars, motorbikes and bicycles, charged by vehicle length. Between Como and Bellagio you travel as a foot passenger, either on a slow boat or on a faster service with its own fare.
Timetables differ between weekdays and Sundays or holidays and change with the season, and on some crossings cars and foot passengers board at different piers. Each page gives the period its table covers, the landing stage to use and the date we checked it.
