A shore-to-shore crossing of the lake, between the province of Varese and Verbano-Cusio-Ossola.
Laveno-Mombello on the Lombardy shore and Intra, part of the town of Verbania on the Piedmont side, face each other across the middle of Lake Maggiore. Navigazione Laghi's ferry between them carries foot passengers, bicycles and cars with their driver, with separate prices for a single and a return.
